Welcome to the first catch-up Q&A on the brand new Feeling website featuring Mr Kevin Jeremiah live and direct from a car travelling to a radio station. Unfortunately, we couldn't transfer over all the old catch-ups to this site - but we have archived all 62 of them here. Anyway, onto the new catch-up with Kev. Oh, and if you have a question for Dan next time, please email it to feedback@thefeeling.com - thanks!

Hi Kev. How are you?
I'm good, thanks. We're just on my way to do a radio session for Dermot O'Leary. It's all kicking off again as of this week.

Did you have a good Christmas?
Yeah. It was a quiet family affair, which was absolutely perfect.

What was your favourite present?
It's actually one that hasn't quite arrived yet, because it's coming from Australia. It's a pair of video goggles from my girlfriend. The idea being that I can lock myself up in my bunk on the tourbus and watch a DVD on them. I can't use my laptop in my bunk, cos it gets horribly hot.

But you don't yet have the goggles yet?
No. That's a good thing, though, because we're supposed to be doing promo at the moment, not watching films on video goggles.

You'll be the envy of your band-mates on the bus.
Yes. I think either a few more pairs will crop up, or I'll be subject to abuse while wearing them.

Presumably one gets quite lost in a film when watching it on video goggles.
That's the idea, yeah. So I think I'll be avoiding horror films.

Did you do anything exciting on new year's eve?
I actually like to do very boring things on new year's eve, cos we spend most of the rest of the year going to parties and after-shows and stuff. So I just stayed in, had a glass of wine and chilled out. It was lovely.

And now that you're back in full promotional swing.
Yeah. And it's gone mad straightaway. This Dermot session is the first thing, but the diary is completely packed. Plus, the album is done, but we're still rushing around doing B-sides for singles and that sort of thing.

Wasn't Dermot the first person to ever play The Feeling on the radio?
Is that right? I didn't know that. I think this is the third time we've done something for him, so he's definitely been a big supporter. And he's a lovely chap.

The single seems to be going down well.
Yeah, I try to avoid radio that's less than 20 years old, but most people who I speak to seem to have heard it and liked it, which is obviously good.

It's already in the club charts.
I know! The original is already quite dancey but they've done a remix which seems to be going down rather well with clubby types.

Have you planned out all the singles for this album already?
No, we do that as we go along really. We change our minds all the time. To be honest, it's as much down to what our mums think as anything else. Actually, I should say parents, otherwise my dad will be writing in to complain.

And we've got the Porchester Hall gig coming up next week.
Yes, our first proper gig with the new stuff. There are hundreds of competition winners coming, so it should be lots of fun. I'm looking forward to it.

Right, readers' questions. Doris Nightingale has sent in 42 of them.
Blimey. Do I have to answer every one?

No, let's pick one at random. "What were your GCSE results like?"
They were pretty good.

Did you get any A-stars?
I got four of them. One of which was music.

Brainbox. Next, the Divine Mrs M would like to know if you've heard of any Feeling tribute bands yet?
No. Although we did hear that some of the bands out in the Alps where we played years ago have been playing some of our songs, which is quite nice. But I've not heard of a band dedicated to playing entire sets of our songs yet. Well, apart from us.

Finally, we have a question from South Korea! Jin would like to know if Dan's surname is Gillespie-Sells? Or whether his middle name is GIllespie and his surname is Sells? Or if his surname is actually just Gillespie?
Um, I don't know. That is the true answer.

It's come all the way from Korea and you can't even answer it.
No, sorry about that.

We'll have to save that question for next time, when we speak to Dan.
Yes. Although you'll probably get as confused an answer from him as you would from me.
